It is essential for patients with macular degeneration, wet or dry, to seek continuous medical treatment to manage their condition and prevent permanent vision loss from occurring.
Contacts
Contact Lens Exams require special attention and expertise beyond a routine eye exam. For contact lens wearers, a contact lens exam is necessary to ensure the lenses are fitting both eyes properly and that the health of the eyes is not harmed by the contact lenses. Our office is equipped with specialty diagnostic devices and certified staff and physicians to ensure the best fit for new and existing contact lens wearers.
Glaucoma Treatment
Glaucoma is one of the leading causes of blindness in the United States. The risk of glaucoma increases with age. Family history is also a strong risk factor.

Advance Optical offers Digital Free-Form Progressive lenses and the latest in disposable soft Contact Lenses, including correction for nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and monovision. Cindy Kible, L.D.O. & Dean W. Earl, L.D.O. (formerly of Treasure Coast Opticians) are our licensed opticians with over 50 combined years of experience. Cindy and Dean are always happy to adjust your glasses and do minor repairs at no charge. Outside prescriptions are always welcome.

Our Physicians
Born and raised in Flint, Michigan. He received his Bachelor of Science in physiology from Michigan State University and his Medical Degree from Wayne State University where he graduated a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
William J. Mallon, M.D
Board certified by the prestigious American Board of Ophthalmology. He received his undergraduate degree from Syracuse University, and then graduated from Downstate Medical Center. Following an internal medicine internship at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Branigan served as a flight surgeon at Patrick Air Force Base.
Edward S. Branigan III, M.D.
Board certified by the prestigious American Board of Ophthalmology. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Union College in New York, graduating summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, he was awarded his medical degree from Albany Medical College, NY. Dr. Katz completed his internship in internal medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.

Board Certified Ophthalmologist and Surgeon who has been in private practice in Morristown and Bayonne New Jersey for the past 38 years.
Dr. Benedetto received his BS from Rutgers University in New Jersey, his MS in Immunology and Medical Microbiology and his MD from The University of Florida College of Medicine.
DOMINICK A. BENEDETTO, M.D.
Received his medical degree from the University of Maryland in Baltimore, during which time he was awarded a fellowship in radiation therapy. For his post-graduate work, Dr. Schnell completed an internship and, subsequently, a residency in ophthalmology, both at the University of Maryland Hospital. He went on to become Chief Resident before opening his private practice in St. Albans, Vermont.

Dr. Blandford, MD is a board-certified ophthalmologist with a focus in oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Blandford completed his ASOPRS fellowship at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute. Ophthalmology at the University of Florida.
